Community-focused. Fisheries-driven. Built to strengthen Grenada’s seafood economy.

GNExTT was established as a novel public-private partnership with the Government of Grenada’s Ministry of Fisheries. From the outset, our model was designed to ensure that the economic benefits of a world-class seafood operation flow back to the fishing communities that make it possible.
GNExTT works directly with Gouyave fishing families, local vessel owners, and independent fishers across St. John’s Parish. Our role is to create stronger local buying channels, better handling standards, skilled jobs, and export opportunities that return more value to the people who make Grenada’s seafood industry possible.
GNExTT is one of the largest employers in St. John’s Parish, providing stable, skilled employment with improved wages, training, and working conditions that did not exist in Grenadian fisheries before this project began.

HOW WE GIVE BACK
🏘️
GNExTT’s community model is built around direct value creation for local fishers and fishing families. By providing reliable buying channels, better handling standards, training, and export access, we help keep more seafood value in Gouyave and St. John’s Parish.
💼
GNExTT is one of the largest employers in St. John’s Parish. We provide skilled employment in seafood processing, quality control, logistics, and technology. These roles did not exist in this community before. Staff receive ongoing food safety and quality training aligned to international standards.
🤝
Established through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Grenada’s Ministry of Fisheries. GNExTT operates within a framework of national fisheries policy, contributing traceability data to Grenada’s centralised fisheries database and supporting the ministry’s development goals.
